Theresa is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with individuals and couples. She tailors her counseling approach to each client's specific needs, worldview, and strengths.
Theresa utilizes several therapeutic modalities to help clients achieve their goals, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
She has experience in addressing a range of concerns, including anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), borderline personality adaptation, trauma, low self-esteem, emotional difficulties, and relationship or family-of-origin issues.
As a wife, sister, and daughter of combat veterans, Theresa is particularly passionate about supporting military families and addressing the unique challenges they face related to military service and the impact of war.
As a Christian, Theresa can incorporate a faith-based approach into therapy if the client desires. However, as a professional and ethical provider, her priority is always to meet clients where they are, respecting their individual goals, values, and preferences.
Regardless of faith, perspective, or background, Theresa provides an empathetic, safe, and non-judgmental space for clients to identify and explore any and all of their concerns.
Each therapist brings unique specializations and approaches to serve our diverse client needs.
