Maryann Robison has nine years of experience in the mental health field and currently sees clients in Centerville, Ohio. She takes a non-judgmental, laid-back, and collaborative approach, while remaining goal-oriented and focused on her clients.
Maryann specializes in treating trauma in adults and adolescents using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. She utilizes the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) model to address the impact of negative, and sometimes traumatic, experiences. She believes EMDR can be effective for a range of mental health issues, not just PTSD.
In addition to individual therapy, Maryann enjoys working with couples and is Gottman Level 2 trained. She also offers faith-based counseling upon request.
