Becca Anderson

Becca returns to the counseling world after a 13 years (and counting!) in the fire service.

With her social work education and experience, she found a passion for first responder mental health while developing her career in Fire/EMS.

Along with developing mental wellness education and programs for her department, she also gained a broad range of experience in all types of crisis intervention, and has had an intimate look at the hardships people endure in all walks of life.

She brings a non-judgmental and empathetic listening style to her clients and often employs a cognitive-behavioral or solution-focused approach, but tailors treatment to the needs of each client.

Becca has a special interest in working with first responders, but welcomes any adult client that would like to like to work through things like trauma, depression/anxiety, relationship issues, and life changes.

She believes change happens best through insight, empowerment and support- and is excited to make a positive impact in the lives of her clients.
