Sarah Jergens is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with over 20 years of experience in the mental health profession.
Sarah has worked mainly with children and adolescents beginning her career as a Recreational Therapist on an inpatient psychiatric unit for children and adolescents before becoming a LPCC.
Sarah has worked in numerous settings including inpatient, outpatient, crisis care, juvenile detention/court and currently works in a K-12 school setting.
Sarah strives to make sure her clients feel comfortable, understood, and heard to help make therapy positive for the individual and/or family.
Sarah works with children and adolescents who struggle with ADHD, depression, anxiety, self esteem issues, trauma and relationships.
Sarah utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and solution focused therapies taking an individualized approach to treatment.
Treatment is based solely on the needs of the Client and incorporates a strengths-based approach.
Sarah has flexible hours working evenings and weekends and the possibility of telehealth if appropriate for the client/family.
