Rebecca Johnson is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) who has worked in the Social Work field for over twenty years.
Rebecca has worked mainly with adults and older adults and most recently people of all ages for the past 9 years in a family doctor�s office setting.
Rebecca�s areas of expertise include working with individual adults and has worked in home and medical settings including hospice and peritoneal dialysis care.
Rebecca is most passionate about helping others rediscover their strengths and add new skills and tools to manage life�s challenges.
Rebecca uses empathy and listening to create a safe space so that clients feel heard and understood.
Rebecca employs motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy to address concerns about sadness, worry, grief and loss, spiritual matters, caregiving responsibilities, relationship issues, stress management, chemical dependency concerns, and navigation of health care and medical settings.
Rebecca has also gained familiarity with community resources for mental health, chemical dependency, and financial problems.
